EXAMPLES OF THE MALE GAZE IN ART ;

GAUGUIN, PICASSO, DAVID SMITH, HANS HOFFMAN, LUCIAN FREUD, CHUCK CLOSE are all still respected artists, despite being accused of taking advantage of women/students/children.

There are consistently more naked women in paintings in art museums, compared to the amount of women artists.
E.g. ... London's National Gallery has 20 works by women out of 2400, but have "too many naked females to count"
